Thai Was Bombed in Laos Territory
A fire has broken out in Laos near Thai border after what authorities suspect was a cross-border bombing early this morning. The incident occurred in a market area, destroying several buildings and injuring multiple people, with damage clearly visible in newly emerging images from the scene.

The explosion rocked the community just after dawn, causing panic among residents and forcing emergency services to evacuate parts of the area. A building, believed to be a local shop or home, was engulfed in flames, with thick black smoke billowing into the sky.
“We heard a loud blast and then saw flames coming from the shop across the street,” said a local resident who witnessed the incident. “People started running, and the firefighters came quickly, but the fire was already spreading.”
Local authorities are working to confirm the source of the explosion. Preliminary reports suggest the device may have been launched from across the border, though officials caution that an investigation is still underway.
Thai military personnel have increased their presence in the region and are coordinating with border forces. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it is seeking clarification and cooperation from Lao authorities to ensure there are no further threats and to maintain stability along the border.
At least 3 people are reported injured, though no fatalities have been confirmed as of this writing.
